Content Creator
Kalagara Inc. is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Content Creator Intern to join our growing marketing team for a 6-month contract. This role is perfect for someone passionate about storytelling, visual design, and digital marketing. As a Content Creator Intern, you will play a key role in shaping our online voice and brand identity across platforms including social media, websites, email campaigns, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, developing, and executing engaging content across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
- Create static, video, and motion content tailored to each platform, ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement.
- Contribute fresh, creative ideas for marketing campaigns, content series, and digital initiatives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support blog content, newsletters, and internal communication assets.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform content strategy.
- Write compelling copy for social posts, captions, and video scripts that align with brand voice and campaign goals.
- Assist in editing video and image assets using tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar platforms.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and weekly marketing stand-ups.
- Track engagement metrics and provide insights to refine content performance.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Design, or related field.
- Strong storytelling and visual communication skills.
- Proficient in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator), CapCut, etc.
- Excellent command over written English and strong attention to detail.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate original content ideas and adapt tone/style for different platforms.
- Knowledge of current social media trends, reels, and content formats.
- Experience with short-form video editing and scriptwriting is a strong plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Portfolio or examples of previous content work (academic or personal) preferred.
